Shawn Parmelee, PE
Principal Engineer
- Shawn is a licensed professional engineer (PE) with over eight years of experience in civil engineering and design. He began his career in engineering consulting at a large EPC firm upon his graduation from Clemson University. Shawn has experience in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors with projects ranging from a 0.5-acre single-family home to a 660-acre solar farm. Through this varied project history, Shawn has experience with providing civil engineering services (including stormwater management and design, erosion and sediment control, grading and drainage design, roadway/infrastructure design, and utility system design and routing) to a variety of clients. Shawn brings his drive, communication, organization, and project delivery skills to Civil Insights to provide clients with quality engineering solutions to their needs. Shawn recieved his Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University in 2012 and 2013 respectively. Shawn currently lives in Georgia with his wife, Emily, and are currently awaiting the birth of their son.
